In the past, I've used another brand of humane trap. It did not have a second door and was much more difficult to load or to tend to the trapped cat. This SafeGuard trap is great. Loading the trap is a snap and setting it is easy. If I need more traps, I'll buy this brand again.

Since writing this review, another brand, Tomahawk, was loaned to me for trapping...I had multiple cats to catch this time. Both the Safeguard and the Tomahawk are far superior to a single door trap. The difference between them is the locking mechnism on the slide-up door in back and the cage dimensions. But both are good.
I caught the Armadillo that was living in our back yard the first night the cage was out. totally shocked! Great investment because the local animal cagers wanted 400$ to catch him.
