We borrowed two traps to trap a Momma coon and her 4 babies.
The Havahart trap caught the Momma (a big ol girl) within 10 minutes. We repatriated her to the woods.
The next night, 3 of her babies were caught all at once in this trap and they, too, were repatriated with their Momma.
The next night, we caught an opossum (we didn't even know was around our yard) and she, too, went to the woods.
We are still waiting for baby 4 to go into the trap but have not seen her for 3 days now. I highly recommend this trap as all 5 animals were caught in the double door Havahart but none in the other trap (another brand name but a tad smaller than the one 1045). I am now going to buy my own to have on hand so I don't have to bother someone else putting down a deposit on one from SPCA or borrowing one.
