I was surprised by the small container size but this stuff works! I've had four mid-size raccoons that have been dogging me all spring and summer; all were trapped successfully using this 'paste' as a lure. The concentrated smell of ripe fruit may drive you nuts when trying to store this container; just put it in a double-zip plastic bag before storing.
Bought this because I can no longer find the Raccoon/Possum bait called "Revenge" on Amazon. It is thinner and runnier, so it's hard to get it to stick to the trip-plate in the trap, and it also appears to be far less enticing to raccoons and possums. I never caught anything with it, whereas I was catching would-be chicken-killers every several nights with Revenge. I finally started using plain old cat-food and that worked a lot better. I wish someone would start selling "Revenge" again - but maybe they don't make it anymore (maybe the Chicken-Loving Raccoon Lobby petitioned congress to outlaw it! :D )
